I’m back and I’m married! *does a cute little dance* As wonderful and life hanging as this month has been I can definitely say I am happy to be back to the world of blogging. I’ve gone far too long without blogging so to catch up…
Yesterday was my (it’s our now) one month anniversary. *blinks rapidly* It really doesn’t seem like it but then again I’m still catching up to the fact that I’m actually a married woman now. It’s so wonderful. We went out for dinner, him, I, Keiyou, my brother and sister in law, and their son- one of my new nephews.
It was awesome! At the same time it’s so strange having this serene and complete sense of family. It’s such a change from the life I’ve known- these wonderful welcoming people that shine so brightly with their smiles and sense of peace. They’re such a happy bunch and you can tell, can really tell, that they love one another.
I wanted to make a post about the wedding sooner but on top of being busy enjoying the married life I’ve been working on a few projects which I’ll get to in a few moments. The other reason I didn’t post is because I didn’t have a copy of the wedding photos and I just couldn’t bear to make one without them! That’s up in the upper left corner by the way, not that you can’t tell. :) I think these are the only photos I have of Hunny when he’s not trying to look as far away from the camera as possible. That goof.
I have another way longer post (that includes all the pictures) that’s nearly done but before I get back to it I wanted to let all you wonderful people know that this blog is moving!
That’s right, m-o-v-i-n-g. Why? Because when I first started writing here it was just something on a fling, boredom, and it’s turned out to be so much more. Through this blog I’ve learned a lot about myself, what I want to do or be in life, and I’ve made many wonderful friends. I’ve grown a bit, at least from my perspective, and I want to take this blog a step further so I can continue doing that.
As most of you know I have a hobby with web design. It’s a thing of mine, like languages and alphabets, web code comes to me as naturally as water to a fish. I like to build sites from scratch and continue tweaking them for as long as I possibly can. So,.. a few years back Hunny bought me the domain to my spiritual community as a gift to help me reconnect with a part of myself I’d thought I lost. Recently, he bought me a new domain- a place I could use specifically for my writing, talking about writing, and anything else that catches my fancy.
So, I’ve started an all writing related website and moved (a copy of) my blog on over there. You can find them both here:

Now, as far as the blog goes I’m still learning how to use WordPress. It’s definitely different from blogger but so far so good. I have to transfer my whole blog roll over as of yet and learn how to work a few of the widgets but everything else seems to be functioning. If anyone has any tips or tricks in dealing with WordPress please don’t hesitate to let me know.
As far as the site goes, though, it’s still under construction- sort of. I have some of my writing on display as well as my opinion on different facets of the writing craft. People ‘can’ register but they don’t have to. There’s comments, a forum, and private messaging for those who are interested but you don’t have to. For those of you familiar with my other site please know that this is a much simpler base. Not nearly as many features as SH and I have no plans of making it that. One large community website is hard enough to run on my own but if anyone would like to help or contribute to Written Whispers just let me know- I’m always open for ideas.
I’m going to copy this post on over to the new blog, please leave all your comments over there. I think I’ve managed to transfer all the comments from this one but if one of your last ones doesn’t appear then you probably posted it near to the day I made the transfer.
