Editing Vs. Revision

I hate editing.
It hate it with every bone in my body but I'm learning to love the revision process as a whole. It feels good to take a used canvas and breathe new life into it, to take what's been written- a well traveled path for you, dear writer, and smooth it over for the next reader waiting to be transported into your world.
Despite my new found appreciation of the task it's still just that: a task, and there are some larger elements to it that I'm still learning about.

An interesting thought crossed my befuddled brain the other day. It entertained my muse for hours on end and so- I've decided to share it with you.
May your muse torment you as much as mine has [does].
Me: *glares at Sebastian*
Muse: *flashes a charming smile*
Me: "Don't play innocent!"
Muse: *strikes dramatic pose* "You wound me, writer-dearest."
Me: *plots evil things*
Muse: "Mission complete." *dances*
We digress...
How does your villain relax? Really. Think about it!
At the end of the day when all their plotting has gone awry and all evil deeds have been foiled- what does your bad guy do to wind down?
